Viva Aerobus Airbus A321ceo Seat Selection Guide (2026)

Viva Aerobus economy cabin, grey leather seats with VIP Priority headrest covers beside the window at sunset

Quick Verdict

Aircraft: Airbus A321ceo — 220 seats, one cabin, 12 aircraft

Layout: 3-3, A B C | D E F, rows 1–38 — rows 11 and 25 are four seats, row 38 is E and F only

Version lottery: Possibly — this is the 220-seat plan; a 230-seat figure also circulates. Check the tell below

Best seats: 11A, 11C, 11D, 11E, 25B, 25C, 25D, 25E — the four-seat rows, all rated green

Seats to avoid: 26A, 26F — legroom, no usable window  ·  rows 10 and 24 — no full recline  ·  rows 36–38

Lavatories: four — one forward, three aft

IFE: none  ·  Wi-Fi: being fitted across the fleet

The trap: the legroom rows

The A321ceo has two pairs of full-size, floor-level doors in the middle of the cabin. Viva puts a row of seats directly behind each, rows 12 and 26, and those rows have the most open floor in front of them of any seats on the aircraft. On a booking map they are the obvious buy.

They are bulkheads. All twelve seats have no underseat storage, and the tray table is in the armrest, which narrows the seat. Every one is rated yellow or worse. And 26A and 26F have no usable window — the glass sits well behind the seat — so the two window seats in the second legroom row are rated red.

Rows 10 and 24, in front of the four-seat rows, cannot fully recline.

The best seats: rows 11 and 25

The doors take the window positions out of the rows beside them, so rows 11 and 25 are four seats each. All eight are rated green, and every one has direct aisle access.

The lettering is the part to read carefully. Row 25 is 25B, 25C, 25D and 25E. Row 11 is 11A, 11C, 11D and 11E — and 11A sits in the position a B seat would normally occupy, not beside the window.

SeatWhere it isWhat you get
11ASecond from the window, not at itAn empty position beside you and your own aisle
11C, 11DAisle seatsAisle access
11ESecond from the windowAn empty position beside you and your own aisle
25B, 25ESecond from the windowAn empty position beside you and your own aisle
25C, 25DAisle seatsAisle access

If you book 11A expecting a window seat, you will not get one. You will get something arguably better — space to one side and no one to climb over — but no view.

The front and back of the cabin

Row 1 is the bulkhead with legroom, no underseat storage, and the tray table in the armrest; the forward galley and lavatory are directly ahead. All six rated yellow.

The back is where this aircraft is weakest. Three lavatories stand behind the cabin, one of them in the position row 38’s left-hand seats would take — so row 38 is just 38E and 38F, against a lavatory and unable to recline. Both red. All of row 37 and 36A–36C are red against the lavatories; 35A–35C and 36D–36F catch the queue.

The best window seats are 3A, 3F, 6A, 6F, 9A, 9F, 14A, 14F, 28A, 28F, 33A and 33F, all green. 2A, 2F, 5A, 5F, 17A, 17F, 18A, 18F, 27A, 27F, 32A and 32F have the glass set behind the seat.

How to tell this is the layout you are on

Viva flies twelve A321ceos. This guide is written to the 220-seat plan, and at least one published reference gives the type 230 seats. We have not been able to confirm whether a second layout is in service. The tell is simple: if your seat map runs rows 1 to 38 with four-seat rows at 11 and 25, the seat numbers here apply. If the rows run further, or there are no short rows mid-cabin, they do not.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best seat on the Viva Aerobus A321ceo?

The four-seat rows beside the mid-cabin doors: 11A, 11C, 11D, 11E, 25B, 25C, 25D and 25E. All eight are rated green and every one has direct aisle access.

Is 11A a window seat on the Viva A321ceo?

No. Row 11 has four seats and 11A sits in the position a B seat would normally take, with an empty space between it and the window.

Are rows 12 and 26 worth paying for?

Only for the floor space. Both are bulkheads with no underseat storage and the tray table in the armrest, and 26A and 26F have no usable window.

How many seats does the Viva A321ceo have?

This plan has 220, in rows 1 to 38. A 230-seat figure also appears in some references; if your seat map does not match the rows in this guide, you may be on a different layout.

Does the Viva A321ceo have Wi-Fi?

Viva is fitting satellite Wi-Fi across its fleet, but not every aircraft has it yet. There are no seatback screens.
