Best Seats in Business
A note on lettering: EVA's A321 Business cabin is lettered A C | H K. There is no D or F seat — if you have seen those letters quoted for this aircraft elsewhere, they belong to a different airline's numbering.

Best Seats in Economy
Economy starts at row 20, not row 1 — and skips row 44. Rows 25 and 37 are door bays with only B, C, H and J: the A and K positions are given over to the doors.
Best Extra Legroom: 26A/26K, then 25C/25H
- Row 26 is the full-width extra-legroom row behind the forward door, and 26A/26K also have excellent window alignment
- Row 25 is the door bay itself: only four seats, so 25B/25C/25H/25J all get direct aisle access with nobody to climb over, and 25B/25J have no seat beside them at all
- 25B and 25J trade the window for that extra side space — you sit against the door, not glass
Caution: every seat in row 26 loses its underseat storage and has the tray table in the armrest, which narrows the seat. The legroom is real; the storage penalty is real too.
Do not confuse row 26 with row 38. Rows 38A and 38K get extra legroom for the same reason — row 37 has no A or K seat in front of them — but the mid-cabin lavatory bank is immediately ahead, so they come with queuing traffic that row 26 does not have.
Best Standard Economy: 22A/22K, 28A/28K, 40A, 48K
- 22A/22K are the first properly aligned windows in Economy — rows 20 and 21 look good on a seat map but are a cramped bulkhead and a misaligned window respectively
- 28A/28K sit in the quiet mid-cabin stretch, clear of both lavatory banks
- 40A has the best window alignment behind the mid-cabin lavatories; 40K opposite is ordinary, so this one is not a matched pair
- 48K is the pick in the back third — excellent window, and the rear lavatory queue works forward on the A/B/C side only
