The catch: make sure it is the 787-9
Aeromexico sells both Dreamliners as Clase Premier at the same fare. On the 787-9, all 36 business seats are 1-2-1 Collins Super Diamond seats with direct aisle access. On the 787-8, Clase Premier is 2-2-2, and the window passengers have to climb over the person beside them.
How to tell: 274 seats is the 787-9, 243 the 787-8. On the seat map, single seats at the windows in rows 1–10 mean the 787-9; pairs at the windows in rows 1–6 mean the 787-8. Aeromexico swaps the two on some routes, so check again before departure.
Clase Premier (rows 1–10)
36 Collins Super Diamond seats in 1-2-1 reverse herringbone, all with direct aisle access, 110V AC and USB-A, no doors. The cabin is split at the second doors: rows 1–8 forward, then a small section of rows 9–10. Row 8 is window seats only (8A, 8J), and row 9 is the centre pair only (9D, 9F), with a lavatory ahead on each side. A self-service snack bar sits at the second doors, between the two sections.
