SeatCompare.ai in Claude and other AI assistants

Ask your AI assistant where to sit, and it answers from SeatCompare.ai's seat guides and live flight data.

Connector URL

Free, with no sign-in or account. Read-only: it looks things up and can't book, buy or change anything. It covers our 500+ seat guides across 100+ airlines.

Add it to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it SeatCompare.ai, paste the connector URL and click Continue.
  4. Choose No sign in when asked about authentication, then click Add.
  5. In a chat, click +, then Connectors, and make sure SeatCompare.ai is switched on.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector first, under Organization settings, Connectors. Other AI assistants and tools that support remote MCP servers can use the same URL.

What it does

Find My Seat (find_my_seat): give it a flight number, date and cabin. It finds the aircraft the flight is expected to use, says how certain that is and how often the flight swaps aircraft (Low, Medium or High, when there's enough history), then answers from the matching seat guide's verdict on where to sit.

Search seat guides (search_seat_guides): finds our guides by airline, aircraft or cabin product, such as Emirates A380, BA 777-300ER or JetBlue Mint.

Read a seat guide (get_seat_guide): reads one guide in full, with the best and worst seats in each cabin, the cabin layouts, and how to tell which version of the aircraft you'll get.

When an airline flies more than one version of an aircraft on a route, it lists each version so you can check which one your booking shows. When we don't have a guide for an aircraft, it says so and points to the closest guide we do have.

Good to know

Airlines can change the aircraft on a flight, sometimes close to departure. Check the seat map in your booking before you pay for a seat, especially on a flight with a High swap risk.

Privacy

Your assistant sends us only what's needed to answer: the flight number, date, cabin and departure airport, a search, or the guide to read. We don't receive your name, email address or your conversation with the assistant. Flight searches are logged the same way as searches on our website, with no account or personal details attached. For developers

Endpoint: https://seatcompare.ai/mcp. Transport: Streamable HTTP with JSON responses, stateless, no authentication. Tools: find_my_seat, search_seat_guides and get_seat_guide, all read-only. Flight lookups are rate limited.
