Part of the Delta A330 guide, which compares the A330-200, A330-300 and A330-900neo. Sister guides: Delta A330-300 and Delta A330-900neo.
The catch: an A330 without suites
Delta flies three A330s and sells them all as “Airbus A330”. Only the A330-900neo has Delta One Suites with doors. If you have booked Delta One and see 223 seats and an economy cabin ending at row 51, you are on the A330-200: a lie-flat seat with direct aisle access, but no door.
Against the A330-300, the -200 has the same seat in every cabin and two real differences. Its Delta One cabin is split in two by the second set of doors, and all of its economy lavatories sit mid-cabin, so the rows at the back are not lavatory rows.
Delta announced in April 2026 that its A330-200s and A330-300s will be refitted with Delta One Suites with sliding doors, with the first aircraft expected in early 2027 and the A330-200s first. Until then, every Delta A330-200 and A330-300 flies the layout in this guide. When the refit arrives, Delta One on the seat map will say “Suites”.
Delta One (rows 1–9)
34 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone with direct aisle access and no doors. Window seats (A and J) angle toward the window; C and G are centre pairs. Row 1 is the C–G centre pair only, directly behind the forward lavatories and galley. The cabin is split into rows 1–6 (22 seats) and a rows 7–9 rear cabin (12 seats) behind the second doors.
Best Delta One seats
- 7A, 7J, 8A, 8J — window seats with two windows each in the small rear cabin.
- 3A, 3J, 4A, 4J, 5A — forward window seats, two windows each.
- 3C/3G, 4C/4G, 7C/7G, 8C/8G — centre pairs for two.
Delta One seats to watch
- 6A, 6J, 9A, 9J — badly aligned windows.
- Row 9 — the last Delta One row, with the Premium Select bassinets directly behind.
Premium Select (rows 20–22)
21 recliners in 2-3-2 at about 38in of pitch, with a leg rest. Row 20 is the bulkhead and the bassinet row (20A, 20C, 20G, 20J).
Best Premium Select seats
- 21A/21B, 21H/21J — pairs with two windows at the window seat, a seat in front and floor storage.
- 21C, 21G — centre-block aisles.
Premium Select seats to avoid
- Row 20 — bassinets, no floor storage, trays in the armrests.
- Row 22 — the Comfort+ bassinets mount directly behind.
- 21D — the middle of the centre three.
Comfort+ (rows 30–32)
24 seats sold at about 34in of pitch with 7in of recline, two inches and three inches more than Main Cabin. 2-4-2 means every window seat is in a pair.
Best Comfort+ seats
- Row 32 — every seat rates well: extra pitch, a seat in front, floor storage, no bassinets.
- 31D, 31F — the clean pair in row 31.
Comfort+ seats to watch
- Row 30 — the bulkhead and bassinet row (30B, 30C, 30G, 30H): no floor storage, trays in the armrests.
- 31A–31C, 31G–31J — directly behind the bassinets.
Main Cabin (rows 33–51)
2-4-2 at about 32in. Four lavatories sit mid-cabin ahead of row 38; there are none at the back. From row 47 the cabin narrows and the centre block drops to three seats.
Best Main Cabin seats
- 45A, 45J — about 34–35in of pitch, as much as Comfort+, sold as an ordinary seat. 45B has about 33in.
- 40A, 40J, 46A, 46J — window seats with a great view.
- 47G, 48G, 49G — aisle seats with no one beside you as the centre block narrows.
- 33–35 A/B and H/J — window pairs at the front; the view is over the wing.
Main Cabin seats to avoid
- Rows 36 and 37 — every seat backs onto the lavatory bank. 37A and 37J have great windows, but not enough to fix it.
- Row 38 centre (38B–38H) — the exit row, with the lavatories immediately ahead and bassinets at 38C and 38G.
- 38A, 38J — open floor and a great window, but the exit door curves into the legroom and the lavatory queue forms beside you.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Delta A330-200 have Delta One Suites?
No. It has lie-flat Delta One seats with direct aisle access but no doors. Delta has announced a Suites refit for the A330-200, expected to start in early 2027. Today, only the A330-900neo has Suites.
How do I tell an A330-200 from an A330-300 on Delta?
Count the seats: 223 is the A330-200, 282 the A330-300. On the seat map, the A330-200’s economy ends at row 51 and its Delta One cabin has a break after row 6.
What is the best Delta One seat on the A330-200?
7A, 7J, 8A or 8J: window seats with two windows each in the 12-seat rear cabin. Avoid row 9, which has the Premium Select bassinets behind it.
Which Main Cabin seats have extra legroom on the Delta A330-200?
45A and 45J have about 34–35in of pitch, the same as Comfort+, and 45B about 33in. The exit row 38 also has legroom, but sits beside the lavatories.
Are the back rows bad on the Delta A330-200?
Less than usual. All of the economy lavatories are mid-cabin, so the rear rows are not next to one. The worst rows are 36 and 37, directly in front of the lavatories.
